Bio

Hello and welcome to my blog!

I am a computer science student specializing in software development, seeking to break into the world of scientific research. I am currently on the Phoenix College ASCEND! project serving as the team lead, and have served as an atmospheric profiling system developer in Fall 2019. I am also part of PTK, Robotics Club, NAMI, and STEAM Club. I would love to work on data acquisition/profiling systems for research, such as systems on board CubeSats for environmental sciences (or planetary sciences). I would love to apply my skills to social/behavioral sciences, robotics, and machine learning. I would enjoy learning more about interactive design concepts to make technology more intuitive.

Code is life! I have some experience in many languages, but I consider myself intermediate in Java, C#, C++, and Visual Basic. I also have some casual experience in Python, MATLAB, XML, JavaScript, PHP, CSS, and HTML. I have recently working with microcontroller systems such as Arduino, building circuits for my own projects. I enjoy sharing my passion with other people and take pleasure in teaching others how to work with technology.

I have been a lifelong musician, jumping around to try new things, but I have been a turntablist/scratch DJ for over 13 years. In my spare time, I am usually scrolling through memes or reading science articles.

My favorite movie is Goodfellas.

I enjoy listening to synthwave, chillwave, retrowave, electronica, beats, deep house, anything without lyrics so I can focus on my work!

Man's Search for Meaning is probably my favorite read, because it gave me perspective early on in life to be grateful for the little things I get to have each day. Very eye opening.
